Alice Drake
HARTFORD - Alice H. Drake, 64, widow of Ralph Drake, died early Thursday night at the home of her son in Avon.
Born in Hartford, April 8, 1908, she was the daughter of Oscar and Effie Beedy Hardy. She was a life-long resident of Hartford. Following the death of her husband in 1966, Mrs. Drake was employed in the packing room of Farmington Show Shop. She was a member of the Pomona Rebekah Lodge, Canton.
Surviving are two sons, Lawrence, Avon, and Robert, Hartford; two half-sisters, Mrs. Thelma Marston, Hartford, and Mrs. Marguerite Howard, Hartford; and a grandchild.
DRAKE - In Avon, Thursday, March 22, 1973, Alice H. Drake, age 64. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, Dixfield, Rev. Daniel Fenner Jr. officiating. Interment Maple Grove cemetery, Hartford. Visiting hours at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, Dixfield, Saturday afternoon and evening 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
