The former Betty Jane Draves was born on April 5, 1923 in Homer Twp to the late Otto and Pauline (Kaschefsky) Draves and passed away July 14, 2006. She married Pearl Dice on October 5, 1940 in Ohio. They were married 52 years when he predeceased her on November 1, 1992. Together they had seven children: Gerald (Bev) Dice of Jackson, Marlene (Fred) Overly of Midland, Carol Overly of Rhodes, Duane (Micky) Dice of Pensacola, FL, twins, Wanda (Leon) Schneider of Midland and Wilma Hoffman of Rhodes and Patsy Blake of Midland, 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by 12 brothers including her twin brother Robert, four sisters and sons-in-laws, Charles Overly and James Hoffman.
