Mrs. Martha Anderson, 52, wife of Axel Anderson, a former resident of Saginaw, died Monday at her home in Detroit. Martha Draves was born in Germany, October 23, 1877, and came with her parents to Saginaw when a child. She was married to Mr. Anderson in Bessemer, MI in 1913. From 1914 until 1918 they lived in Detroit, then coming to Saginaw, but in 1923 returning to Detroit. She leaves her husband and one son by a former marriage, Bradley Densmore.
The funeral will take place at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the home of Lorenz Draves, 2248 Ames Street, and at 9 a.m. at St. Andrews Church. Rev. Fr. Timothy Kroboth will officate, and burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
