Agnes Kmieciak-Draves (nee Rutkowski), 85, of Lorain, died peacefully on Sunday February 8, 2009 after a long illness. She was born October 26, 1923 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident. Agnes graduated from Lorain High School class of 1941 B. She worked as a seamstress at S. Weitz Company and as a clerk/cashier at Houghs Pharmacy and Rite-Aid. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed reading, cooking, embroidery, crocheting, spending time with her many nieces and nephews and her monthly reunions with her friends from the 1937 class of Nativity BVM Catholic School. She is survived by her sisters Alice Kromroy, Teresa Jachym (John), Frances Callahan and Shirley Jacovetti, all of Lorain, many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Hughie Kmieciak, second husband Arthur Draves, parents Jakob and Mary Rutkowski (nee Kobylarczyk) and sister Dolores Feldkamp.
