Kalista "Kit" Bickerton, 74, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of Rostraver, died Monday, April 18, 2016, at the home of her daughter, Dawn, in Scottdale, surrounded by family members. She was born Kalista Dreier on Aug. 14, 1941, in Homestead, one of two children of Jane and Spark Dreier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald L. Bickerton. Kit is survived by two children, son, Bradley (Lynne) Bickerton, of Cortland, Ohio, and daughter, Dawn (Cathy) Bickerton, of Scottdale; six grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jackson, Ben, Claudia and Ruby; her brother, David (Nancy) Dreier, of New Bern, N.C., and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday in the STEPHEN D. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Route 51 (Large), Jefferson Hills. The Rev. Judi Slater will officiate the service and burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township.

If desired, her family suggests donations to Amedisys Hospice, 109 Crossroads Road, Suite 400, Scottdale, PA 15683.
