She is survived by her three sons, Milton (Carlyn) Criswell of Molino, Billy (Janie) Criswell of McDavid and Gary (Tammie) Criswell of Molino; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Jessie has resided in Molino for the past 55 years and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Over the years, she touched many lives through her work with vacation bible school and many other activities with her church and her ladies Sunday School class. She also volunteered at the now closed Molino Elementary School in the library, a job that she truly loved. She loved being around the children and was "Granny" to all. She also worked as a volunteer with the Council On Aging caring for the elderly who could no longer care for themselves. She was also a recipient of this same care in her latter days.
Many thanks to Mrs. Mary and Mrs. Eleanor for the care they gave to our mother. Also, many thanks to the home health care nurses and Covenant Hospice who provided such comforting care.
Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel North on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Highland Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is in charge of arrangements.
