ALICEVILLE, Ala. — Eunice Driver Ashcraft, 91, died Dec. 16, 2013, at Sansing Country Home. Services are Thursday at 11 a.m. at Aliceville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Visitation is 30 minutes prior to services. Skelton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ashcraft was born Oct. 16, 1922, in Artesia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bert Driver. She was a member of Aliceville First Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Huyck Felt Company and BTR. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Ashcraft; brothers, Henry Driver, J.B Driver, Charlie Driver and Raymond Driver; and sisters, Mildred Blakney and Irene Heritage. Pallbearers are Johnny Heritage, Glenn Heritage, Dwight Blakney, Christopher Heritage, Joe Wood and Jerry Cockrell. Memorials may be made to Pilgrim Rest Cemetery Fund, c/o Lois Bruce, 4100 Sapps Road, Carrollton, AL 35447.
