Mrs. Mildred "Millie" Abercrombie, 62, of Rex, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2003. Her son, Ronald K. Abercrombie, Jr., preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today Saturday, May 3l at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with remains placed in state at l p.m. The Rev. Chris Reynolds will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Abercrombie; daughter, Alicia Bowden of Lake City; son Jeff Abercrombie of Asheville, Ala; grandchildren, Lance and Chase Abercrombie, and Abbey and Jobey Bowden.
