She passed away January 1, 2015.
Daughter of Maria Luisa Orozco de Duarte and Ramon Duarte. Mother to Maria Teresa Gutierrez (Gonzalo P.), Federico D. Alvarez (Maria), and Francisco D. Alvarez.
Preceded in death by her husband, Francisco M. Alvarez; and sister, Mauricia Lopez.
Survived by her sisters, Francisca, Irma, Adelina, Benardina, Graciela, and Magdalena; brothers, Ernesto, Ramon, Manuel, and Marco. Also survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (North Chapel), Tucson, Arizona, with a rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, January 8, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, Tucson.
Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
