Entered peacefully into rest in Hayward, CA on January 20, 2009 at the age of 86. Born and raised in Centerville, CA (Fremont). Marie was the youngest of 8 children by Manuel and Anne Duarte. she was a long time resident of Fremont, Hayward and Castro Valley.
She and her husband Louis owned and operated L&V Trucking of Union City. They enjoyed family and events as well as travel and activities with the Lions Club where Louis was a past District Governor. Marie is survived by a daughter, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis J. and daughter, Linda DeCaen.
