He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the First Church of God, Brunswick. He was also a member of the Steadman-Keenan American Legion Post, Hagerstown Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and the Brunswick AF&AM No. 191.
Besides his wife he is survived by three children, all of Hagerstown. They are Harry Dubel, Mrs. Hazel Haines, and Mrs. Ruth Carnahan.
Other survivors include five grandchildren, sisters, Mrs. Leila Sword, Ashton, Ill; and Mrs. Lettie Nutting, Lowell, Mass, and brothers, Alvey Dubel, Hagerstown, and Roger Dubel, Baltimore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday from the First Church of God, Brunswick, at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Harold Beck. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the services. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg. Friends may call at the Feete Funeral Home, Brunswick.
