OBITUARY :
CHARLES EDWARD DUBEL, of near Middletown, died at the Washington County Hospital Friday afternoon of complications, after an illness of complications, after an illness of ten days, aged 77 years.

He was son of the late Jacob and Charlotte (Renner) Dubel and was born at Wolfsville. He was a member of the E. U. B. Church at Pleasant Walk, Md. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Ida Pratt, Hagerstown; Mrs. Lettie Nutting, Lowell, Mass.; and Mrs. Leiah Sword, Aston, Illinois; brothers, Trenton and Alvey, both of Boonsboro, Route 1; Ray, Brunswick; Roger Dubel, Baltimore.

The body was taken to the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro where services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Curvin Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
