Mrs. Erle Wilton Dubel, 85, of 1000 W. Main St., died at 11:20 p.m. yesterday in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born in Middlebrook, March 11, 1889, a daughter of the late Finley and Martha Lucas Balser.

She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church, a past president of the Blue Ridge Rebekah Lodge No. 81 of International Order of Oddfellows, a member of the Past Noble Grands Club and a member of WSCS of Main Street United Methodist Church.

She was the last member of her family and is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Robert T. Knox, with burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Thomas Galloway, Charles S. Balser, Wayland Balser, Robert Balser, J. T. Brown Jr., and William M. Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Paul A. Woods, John W. Tyree, Willard Mullins and Marion McCauley.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home.
