Mr. Duckworth was born June 28, 1943 in Johnson County, TN. He was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and retired from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service. He served in the Vietnam War.
Surviving are wife, Jan Meeks Duckworth; sons, Danny and Ricky Ducworth; step-son, Davin M. Gibbs; brothers, Bobby and Charles Duckworth; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dilliard and Myra Watts Duckworth and son, David Duckworth.
