Died, at the family residence near Cotton Hill, Saturday morning, Aug. 13, 1904, at 11 o'clock, Alexander Duncan, aged 72 years. Mr. Duncan was an old and highly respected resident of Sangamon county. He was during his life engaged in farming, and was well and favorably known throughout the county. He has been a resident of Sangamon county since 1854, and most of the time lived near Cotton Hill.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Brunk and Mrs. David Murphy, who reside near Cotton Hill. The funeral will take place from the late residence to-morrow morning and from the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The remains will be laid to rest in Calvary cemetery.
