Died, at the family residence, North Thirteenth street, Saturday, Dec. 28, 1895, of consumption, Alcence Duncan, aged 23 years, 10 months and 15 days. She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Duncan, two sisters, Addie and Clara Duncan and a brother, Otis Duncan, all of this city. She was a graduate of the Springfield high school of the class of '89, and was teaching school at La Belle, Mo., when she first became ill.
