MRS. LEILA CHAPMAN - Memphian for 45 Years Fatally Stricken - Mrs. Leila Chapman, who lived at 3124 Signal Road with her daughter, Mrs. C.R. Yancey, died on the way to St. Joseph Hospital after having a heart attack at noon yesterday. She was 69. Services will be at 2 tomorrow afternoon at Memphis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Born in Smithland, Ky., Mrs. Chapman had lived in Memphis for 45 years. Her husband, Neil C. Chapman, died in 1945. She was a member of the Dellwood Baptist Church. She also leaves two sons, H.F. Chapman of Vidalia, Ga., and Bert Chapman of Memphis, and six grandchildren. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 10-31-1962)
