HELEN D. DiPETRILLO, 84, of Crescent Avenue, a champion bowler and founder of a tennis association, died Friday at home.
She was the wife of the late Guido A. DiPetrillo.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary A. (McMaster) Durrell, she lived in Cranston for 52 years.
She was a founding member of the Over 55 Tennis Association. She was a Silver Medal winner in bowling in the Cranston Senior Olympics in 1998, and the next year, at the age of 83, she won the Gold Medal.
She is survived by a daughter, two sons, a brother and five grandchildren.
She was a sister of the late Kenneth, Robert and James Durrell.
