Velma Durrell Cobb 85,of Texarkana, Ark died Monday June 21,2004 in a local hospital. Mrs. Cobb was born August 21,1918 in Cass County, Texas. She was a member of Senior Adults at Downtown First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star and a former president of NARFE Chapter 300. Survivors include one special friend, Shelby Hickerson of Texarkana; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today in East Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
