Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home, Perry Chapel with Pastor John Walworth officiating. Family will meet with friends on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Oak Plains Cemetery, Shaftsburg.
Richard was born on October 13, 1930 in Lansing, the son of Rupert and Glenah (White) Duzenbury. He was retired from Oldsmobile after 46 years where he was a Product Supervisor and a committee man. On September 10, 1960 he married Doreen Steward in Lansing and she predeceased him in 2008. Richard was a member of the Perry Masonic Lodge-Past Worshipful Master and the Elf Kurafeh Shriners in Saginaw.
He is survived by his son Richard (Diane) Duzenbury Jr. of Iowa and daughter Tamara (Greg) Abbott of Laingsburg, and three grandsons Justin, Jeremy and Jarred. He was predeceased by infant daughter Janice and sister Eleanor Glick. Memorial contributions can be made Hospice House of Mid- Michigan or the Shriners (Burn Unit).
