Dixie Lorine Arnold, 70, of Blacksburg, VA died Sunday night, Dec. 31, 2006, in the Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Pulaski, on July 12, 1936 and was the daughter of the late William Henry Eads & Nannie Lou Chapman Eads. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Arnold, Sr. Surviving are her husband, Cecil Arnold, Pulaski; five daughters, Tammy Asbury, Blacksburg, Rhonda Williams, Pulaski, Sandy Lovern, Pulaski, Lisa Arnold, Pulaski, Connie Edwards, Hillsville; three sons, Randy Eads, Roanoke, Rick Davis, Roanoke, Billy Joe Arnold, Jr., Roanoke; two sisters, Mary Lawrence, Roanoke, Mildred Nunn, Rural Hall, NC; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting will be Thursday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., PO Box 32, Pulaski, Va. 24301 to help with funeral expenses.
