Edwin Comer Eads, 85, died Saturday morning, February 23, 2012.

Edwin, a resident of Wake Forest, and formerly of Ft. Washington, MD, was former President of Oxon Hill Lions Club. He was an avid golfer and former member of the Heritage Golf Club and Legends.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Thorne Eads daughters, Deborah Reishman and husband, Michael, of Wake Forest and Susan Carskadon of Memphis, TN; son, Christopher Eads of Orlando, FL; brother, Howard Eads of Charleston, IL; grandchildren, Kristina Klindienst, Holly Sims, Carrie Kelley and Ryan Venable; 6 greatp0grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made the American Lung Association, 514 Daniels St., #109, Raleigh, NC 27605.

A visitation and time of sharing will be held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, February 25, 2012 at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S., Main St., Wake Forest, NC 27587.
