She was born Feb. 23, 1945, in Charleston, S.C., to Fred and Marcia (Sills) Sparks. She was a retired factory worker and caregiver.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Eads, of Smithville; one daughter, Carol L. Eads of Bloomington; one granddaughter, Courtney Deckard of Bloomington; one grandson, Justin Deckard of Bloomington; four "grandchildren" she cared for, Ana DeLong of Evanston, Ill., and Eli Scott, Suzanna Scott and Hadleigh Scott, all of Heltonville; two sisters, Vivian Hoyme of Rockville, Md., and Velda Fisher of Greene County; three brothers, Fred Sparks of Orleans and Homer Sparks and Jim Sparks of Bloomington.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
