MISHAWAKA - Donald Myron Eads, 64, of San Diego, CA, passed away Sat., Aug. 6, 2011 at the San Diego Hospice Hospital, San Diego, CA. Cremation followed. Donald was born March 26, 1947 in South Bend, IN to the late Ruth (Little) and Donald M. Eads Sr. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Eads and a half-brother, Donald Eads. He is survived by two brothers, Harry L. Eads of Mishawaka, IN and Thomas (Connie) De Freeze of Union, MI; three sisters, Ruth Haller of Kansas City, Kansas, Sharon (Dennis) Zimmerman of Goshen, IN and half-sister, Ruth (Larry) Sargent of Mishawaka, IN. Donald is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Donald attended Mishawaka High School, Mishawaka, IN. He enjoyed playing softball, football and basketball. After high school Donald moved to Miami, FL and later moved to the San Diego, CA area where he made his home until his death. There will be a Memorial in David's honor Sat., Nov. 12 at 1:00 pm at the Res Camp Lodge, 13950 Scout Lane (off Capital Ave.), Mishawaka, IN for family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made in Donald's name to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
