Evelyn Aileen Barbee was born July 1, 1917 in Rains County to Cortez and Alice (Smiley) Eads. She passed away March 11,2005 in Huntsville, Texas. She married Billy Ray Barbee in 1941 in Quilan, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Services will be held Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Valentine officiating. Interment will follow at Brooke Cemetery under the direction of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barbee was preceeded in death by her husband Billy Ray Barbee. Two brothers, Ellis Eads and Billy Eads and two sisters, Glennell Eads and Jo Ann Fulton. She is survived by two sons; Jimmy Ray Barbee and Billy Patrick Barbee, sisters Lucy Beth Magee and Bobbie Nell Thomason and Husband Tommy all of Alba, Texas; three sisters-in-law Virgina Bagby of Huntsville, Ann Williams of Rockwall, Texas and Ruth Barbee os San Antonio, Texas along with numerous nieces and nephews.
