"Funeral services for John P. Eads, 82, will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in the James H. Garlick funeral home at Twentieth and P Streets.
A native of Louisville, Ky., Eads moved to California twenty years ago. He was in charge of the stockroom in the former A.E. Meisters Company, automobile body builders in Sacramento, and was known familiarly as Dad Eads.
He died of a paralytic stroke Tuesday, two months prior to his fifty second wedding anniversary.
The survivors are his wife, Cora; two daughters, Mrs. Ella Weaver and Mrs. Edith Hansen and three sons, William, Ross and George, all of Sacramento."
