She was born Oct. 10, 1942, in Brawley. She lived her whole life in California, her last 11 years in Spring Valley Lake.
Donna worked at Byron Jackson Pump before retiring to the High Desert to watch her grandkids grow up. She cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, traveling, reading romance novels, and the Bible.
Her fondest memories were of her son's wedding to Diana, watching her granddaughter play soccer, and her grandson play football, both grandkids graduation from high school, and to walk down the aisle with her grandson, for her granddaughter's wedding to Ryan, and spending time with her closest friends, Fred and Marion, and Pat and Gary.
Donna is survived by her husband of 46 years, and high school sweetheart, Jerry; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Diana Eads, of Victorville; grandkids, Jessica and her husband, Ryan Jarvis, of San Bernardino, and Kevin Eads Jr., of Victorville; sister, Charlotte Golovich and husband Mike, of Alabaster, Alaska; brother, Gerry Parker and wife Karen, of Eugene, Ore.; and mother, Blanche Parker, of Eugene, Ore. There were so many more people who gave Donna their prayers and love, we apologize for not naming you, but you know she loved and appreciated you. God bless you mom, we miss you.
A memorial service is planned for family and friends to celebrate Donna's life at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley.
