Mrs. Edith Canaday, 77, formerly of Lawrence county, died Tuesday at the Presbyterian home at Evanston.

The remains are being returned to the Sivert Funeral Home at Sumner where friends may call. Graveside services will be held with Rev. Robert Fyffe in charge. Burial will be at Bridgeport cemetery. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian home at Evanston .

Mrs. Canaday was born at Atwood, Penn, on September 15, 1891, daughter of William and Nancy Arehart. She was a member of Buena Presbyterian church in Chicago.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Cener, of Brookfield, and a son, Donald Canaday of Rt. 4, Sumner, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Marjorie Bartrum of Sumner is a sister and Wilbert Arehart is a brother of the deceased.
