Eleanor married John Taliaferro Lewis about 1810 in South Carolina and they had eight known children. It is believe that after the death of John, that Eleanor left to live with her son in Adairsville, Georgia. If this was in fact the location of her death, she could well be buried in Oothcalooga Baptist Church Cemetery where her mother-in-law and father-in-law John and Ann Lewis are buried. Her husband John moved then to Fairmount, Georgia and even though the grave of her husband John cannot be found he could well have been brought back to Adairsville and laid to rest beside his wife at Oothcalooga.
