Daniel W. Edwards, Sr., 66 of Virden, IL passed away at 11:48 A.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.
Daniel was born July 13, 1945, in Sptingfield, son of Joseph D. and Vinetta M.'Skip' Woods Edwards. He married Carolyn Adams and later married Margaret Seabolt and also Ann Ammbrose.
He was an Army veteran serving in Vietnam from1967-1973. He was awarded the National Defence Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam combat Medal, one overseas Service Bar and the Expert M-14 Rifle and Marksman M-16 Rifle award.
Graveside services will be Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
