Bonnie L. Bair, 89, of Astoria, IL died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.

She was born Sept. 30, 1915, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Joseph and Iva May Thomas Edwards. She married Charles Henry McCombs on April 2, 1934, in Lewistown. She later married Paul Wilson Bair on March 19, 1945, in Rushville. He died Jan. 3, 1950.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Wright; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; three brothers, Russell, Burlie and Ernie Edwards; and three sisters, Goldie Dodd, Erma Rhoades and Dorothy Stambaugh.

Surviving are three daughters, Janie (Leon) Danner, Suzie Ann Bair and Nancy Lee Westlake; five sons, Loyd McCombs, Tony (Vickie) McCombs, Patrick McCombs, James (Peggy) McCombs and Ted Bair; one brother, Kenneth (Emma Jane) Edwards.

She was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be held at Astoria Cemetery.
