Miss Eisen attended elementary school in Sandusky, Ohio, and high school in Mt. Vernon and Largo. After receiving her BS in education and MA from Ohio University, she taught in the elementary schools of New Bremen, Chagrin Falls and Athens Township in Ohio, and in Largo, IN. In 1975, she retired after 40 years of working with student teachers, including teaching in the University Elementary Laboratory School.
She was active in community church activities in Athens until 1983, when she moved with her sister, Ruth, to Wesley Manor. She was a member of the Ohio University Emeriti Association and the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio. She was also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Frankfort.
She was born Dec. 23, 1908, in Waverly, OH, to the Rev. Theophilus and Elizabeth Fischer Eisen.
Surviving are Fischer and Eisen cousins, friends, and sister, Gloria (Richard) Cooper of Niles, Mich.
