Emma Nimmo Bridgeman was born on Aug. 30, 1903, in Grand Tower to Calvin and Birty (Harrison) Ellet. Survivors include siblings, Ervin Ellett and Minnie Holkel of Grand Tower and Edith Burke of Murphysboro. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

In 1920 she married Roy Nimmo. He died in July, 1930. She then married Harry L. "Tom" Bridgeman on April 28, 1942, in Cape Girardeau. He died on January 28, 1979. She leaves the following children: Frank Nimmo, Edwin LaVern Nimmo and Peggy Qualls, all of Grand Tower; Middy Burns of Oakland City, Ind.,; and Phyllis Bridgeman of Crown Point, Indiana. She was preceded in death by one son, Roy Eugene.

Mrs. Bridgeman attended the Lighthouse Christian Assembly Church in Grand Tower and was a homemaker.

She died at the age of 89 at her Grand Tower residence.
