(David) Morgan Elliott was know as 'Mog', short for Morgan. He was 6'3" and approximately 200 lbs and very athletic. He wanted to be a dancer like Fred Astaire, but his mother didn't think that was socially acceptable. He attended San Diego State without a degree, becoming a bank teller and clerk for Bank of America. He went to work in Real Estate in 1949.

He was married three times during his life.

Morgan was in the fraternity, Sigma Alpha Elsilon at San Diego State. His fraternity brother, Joseph Van Arsdale France introduced him to his sister, Jane Nelson France. They were married on May 25, 1935 in San Diego. When Jane France died in February 1946, Morgan was distraught. His mother, Mabel, took him around the countryside on a train 6 months later, leaving his two daughters (Jean and Susan) with friends of his mother and aunt (Ivy and Fanny). When visiting cousins in Philadelphia, he met Jane Hand Callender.

Morgan married Jane Hand Callender on June 6, 1947 at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA. They lived in Los Angeles in the beginning, then moved to San Diego, living with his mother Mabel, while Morgan was ill in the hospital. They lived in Glendora on an orange ranch for awhile before moving back to San Diego again. Morgan and Jane had a son (Davy Morgan Elliott) and a daughter (Barbara Callender Elliott), and later were divorced July 1, 1965 in San Diego.

Morgan Elliott and Jane Hand Callender were third cousins through Clarence 'Cal' Callender and Mabel 'Bubbles' Morgan. Cal's mother (Margaret Jane Jones) and Mabel's father (Davy Morgan) were first cousins. Davy's mother (Catherine Johns) was the sister of Margaret's father (Edward Johns). There parents were Thomas John and Ann Howell John.

Married Miriam Merrill in 1965, lived in her house on McCall St in Point Loma, by the San Diego bay, and remained married to her until his death on January 4, 1971.
