Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James Lewis and Floree Chastain Pitts. She was a retired dietitian.
Surviving are her daughter, Joyce McCray, of the home; a granddaughter, Nichol Jones, of Greenville; a sister, Kathleen Fleming, of Greenville; and a brother, Isaiah Pitts, of Asheville.
Service: 3 p.m. Saturday at Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Burial: Church cemetery. - Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
