Ruth Lucille Buchanan, 91, of 1900 Karo St. died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1992, at Hallmark Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 9, 1900, in Brownstown to Dennis and Alice Davis Ellison, she married Albert Buchanan in 1947 in Springfield. He preceded her in death, as did one son, Roy Kettering.
Surviving are two daughters, T. Elaine Davis and Pauline Thomas, both of Pekin; one son, Joseph M. Kettering of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Gladys Ellison of Peoria.
She was a line worker with the former American Distillery in Pekin for 28½ years before retiring in 1965.
Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
