Canton – Nancy A. Barlow, 67, of 716 West Walnut St., died at 2:25 p.m. Monday October 26, 2009 at her residence.
She was born on November 1, 1941 in Canton to Richard E. and Annabelle (Allaman) Ellison.
She married Dan C. Barlow III in Orange, Texas on October 3, 1959. He survives.
Other survivors include three children Rhonda (Greg) Jones and Steve Barlow, both of Clermont, Fla. and Charles (Susan) Barlow of Springfield, Ohio, two brothers Harry (Tammie) Ellison of Pekin and Richard Lee (Barbara) Ellison of Cocoa, Fla., one sister Mary (Michael) Davis of Springfield, Ohio, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Katherine Douglass.
Nancy worked at Maytag in Galesburg for 30 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. A celebration of life will be held at her home on West Walnut St., starting at 2:00 p.m. Friday November 6, 2009.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Graham Hospice.
