Born March 6, 1942 in Greenwood, SC; Mrs. Bowen was the daughter of the late George Bailey Ellison and the late Connie Lee Brown Ellison. Mrs. Bowen attended Anderson college, a homemaker, and a member of the Harris Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC.
Survivors include her son: Scott Bowen and wife, Maria, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and her daughter: Amee Elaine Bowen Rush and husband, Chris, of San Antonio, TX; and her sister: Faye Cook of Powder Springs, GA.
