Funeral: 10 am Wednesday at White's Funeral Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 11 am to 9 pm Tuesday.
Leonal Antonio Espaillat was born Dec 27, 1936, in the Dominican Republic. He had lived in the Springtown-Azle area for 20 years and previously resided in Irving, where he owned a Texaco serivce station. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Azle for five years and was previously a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista in Weatherford. HE was very active in his church and very strong in his Christian faith. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1975. He was presently a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Springtown.
Survivors: Sister, Lourdes Espaillat of New York; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Felix Aviles of Irving, Evette Torres of Arlington; great-nephew, Samuel Aviles of Irving; great-niece, Olivia Aviles of Irving; godson, Joseph George of Springtown; goddaughters, Jessica George and Jeanell George, both of Springtown; and closest and dearest friends, Tommy and Lloydeane George of Springtown.
