Clemson, SC - Margie Ethridge Boggs, 88, of 117 Holly Avenue, widow of the late John Frank Boggs, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at her home.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Bessie Broadwell Ethridge. She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church and the Eva Crenshaw Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Boggs is survived by two sisters, Kathleen Rainey of Anderson, Doris Entrekin of Antreville; a devoted, loving, and caring nephew and niece, Brian and Courtney White and their daughters, Amelia and Isabelle, all of Anderson; a loyal and loving friend, Mary Allen of Pendleton; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 10 until 11 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pendleton UMC Building Fund or to the charity of one's choice.

The family is at their respective homes.
