Linda Amanda Asay, 87, former longtime Lovell resident, died Friday in Bremerton, Washington where she had lived with her son for the past eight years. She was born July 9, 1895 in Provo, Utah, the daughter of John and Anna Mathilda Evert. She came to the Big Horn Basin as a young girl and had lived here for seventy-one years. She married Arthur Asay on August 29, 1912 in Lovell, Wyoming.

Survivors include three sons, Orson Asay of Boswell, Indiana, Ben Asay of Encinatas, California, and Dale Asay of Bremerton, Washington; three daughters, Lucille Riopelle of Sequim, Washington, Melba Davis of Tacoma, Washington, and Fern Jarrett of Lovell; one sister, Florence Iverson of Seattle, Washington; 30 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 3, 1983 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lovell, Wyoming Stake LDS Chapel with Bishop Robert Hawley officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
