Charlotte Pearl (Evert) Anderson August 16, 1940 – August 15, 2011 After an 18 year battle with cancer, Char is now rejoicing with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and many loved ones who preceded her to heaven. She lived a life on this earth dedicated to serving God in all she did. She begins her heavenly life ahead of many loving friends and family members, siblings, Charlene Fugleburg, Elwin, Dwight and Kermit Anderson; children, Valerie (Mike) Epperson, Lori Malenoski, Penny (Gretchen) Evert, Pete (Evelyn) Evert, Danny (Melinda) Evert; eight grandchildren, Mike (Toni) Malenoski, Tina Epperson, Michael (Lissa) Epperson, Patrick Epperson, Dillon Evert, Austin Evert, Lauren Schneider, Tannor Evert, as well as two great-grandsons, Aiden and Tristan Epperson, and one great-grandson due in November. Char lived her life to know and share Christ's love. Because of her generous involvement with others in her retirement village, Bible study groups and church activities, she was surrounded by phenomenally, loving friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to two amazing friends who were true guardian angels during Mom's final weeks on earth, Gerry and Jodie. We love and appreciate you more than words can say. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado- we found an amazing staff of medical professionals and loving care givers, providing expert care and comfort to not only Mom during her last weeks, but also to the entire family. A memorial celebration of Char's life will be held at Victory Life Church, Fruita, Colorado at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 with a luncheon to follow in the foyer.
