Patrick L. Evert, 75 years, of Omaha, NE formerly of Fremont, NE died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Patrick was born December 24, 1937 in Howells, NE to Alois "Al" and Helen (Knust) Evert. He grew up in Fremont, NE and graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1955 in Fremont. He served in the U.S. Army 10/9/56 to 10/8/58 and in the National Guard. Patrick lived in Fargo, ND from 1973 to 1976 and in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN 1978-1986 before moving to Omaha. He worked for Safelite Auto Glass in Omaha and surrounding areas for 37 years as a warehouse delivery driver, auto glass installer and manager, retiring in 2010.
He married JoAnne Peeples December 23, 1976 in Omaha.
Survivors include: wife, JoAnne; brother and sister-in-law - Kenneth and Bobbie Evert of Center City, MN; sister-in-law - Bev Evert of Fremont, NE; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: parents; and brother - Donald Evert.
Funeral Service will be at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Father Ron Battiato will officiate. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, NE with military honors conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of V.F.W. Post #854 and American Legion Post #20.
