Mrs. Margaret Louise Bates, 38, Huntsville, died Wednesday at her residence.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel in Athens with the Rev. John Norman officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Arlen Bates; a daughter, Mrs. Erika Cowan of Athens; her mother, Mrs. Helen T. Fain of Athens; a brother, Herbert Carter of Bowen, GA; and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Crews and Mrs. Dorothy Watson, both of Athens.
