Charles Felty, 73, of Clay City, passed away on March 7, 2015 at his home.

Charles was born on May 29, 1941 in Rolla, MO to Charles and Opal (Tice) Felty. He married Joyce (Rosenberger) Felty on May 27, 1961.

Charles was the co-owner of Orgon Well Service, Clay City, and truck driver for Murphy Trucking, Fairfield. Charles was an active member of his community. He served on the Clay City Council for 18 years and was a Lions Club member. He attended the Clay City First Baptist Church.

Survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Felty of Clay City, son, Steve Felty of Texas, son, Bruce (Cheryl) Felty of Robinson, son, Steven T. Felty of Clay City, sister, Linda Dour of New Jersey, grandchildren, Cody Felty of Evansville, IN, Amber Kohn, Flora and Cheyenne Felty, Louisville,

Preceded in death by his parents, and adopted sister, Francis (Schoultz) Engelbright
