Veronica was born on January 28, 1928 in Pangasinan, Philippines to Alejandro Ferrer and Tomasa Valdez making her the youngest of 6 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leopoldo Dizon, and her two sons, Peter Dizon and Ricardo Dizon. Veronica is survived by her sons Alfredo Dizon, Melanio Dizon, and Hilario Dizon; her daughters Estela Austria and Lani Garcia; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandhcildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
