Maybelle Cline
Maybelle Cline, 87, a resident of the Oak Lawn Apartments in Centerville the past four years, and a long-time resident of Cincinnati, died in St. Joseph Hospital Saturday, March 12, 1977, following a brief illness. She had been hospitalized one day.
Born December 18,1889, in Edmunds County, S.D., she was the daughter of William Henry and Katie George Fessenden. On December 21,1912, she was married to Henry Irvin Beer in Wetonka, S.D. She married Otis Cline in October, 1957, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cline was a member of the East Pleasant Street Christian Church in Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and one grandson.
Survivors include one son, Leslie Beer, Fairbanks, Alaska, two daughters, Mrs. Claude (Lucille) Craver, Exline, and Mrs. Dean (Alice) Bear, Ames, la.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Walter Fessenden, Miltondale, Kan., and William Fessenden, Marion, Ind.; and two sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Kathryn) Gibson, Rapid City, S.D., and Mrs. Clifford (Hazel) Clark, Towanda, Pa.
Services will be Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., at Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ernest Cook and the Rev. Clifford Hart officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday 7 to 8 p.m.
