HOMER FIRMAN CARMINES

POQUOSON, VIRGINIA - Homer Firman Carmines, 86, a native of Messick, Virginia, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993.

Mrs. Carmines was a homemaker and a member of Quindie Roe Council 42, Degree of Pocahontas. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, its Women's Bible Class, the choir and the Josephine Boulifant Circle.

Survived by four daughters, Bea C. Paine of Bluefield, West Virginia, Lelia C. Romo of San Antonio, Texas, Brenda C. Beckelic of Poquoson and Fran C. Corey of Hampton; two sons, William L. Carmines Jr. of Poquoson and George D. Carmines of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Amelia F. Topping and Myrtle F. Rowe of Poquoson; a brother, Moody J. Firman Jr. of Poquoson; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, 1993, at Trinity United Methodist Church by the Revs. Milford Rollins and Roy P. White. Interment Western Cemetery.
