Mrs Eva May Feltmate, died on October 14 in
Toronto. Her remains were brought to Canso and rested at Rhynold's Funeral Home. The funeral was held on Wednesday from Star of the Sea Church with Fr. Alexander MacNeil officiating. Pallbearers were Gerald Cole, William Horne, Stanley Bond, Nelson Dort, James Pelley, and Joyce Jones. She is survived by four daughters Alice (Mrs Jack Pellington) and Marie (Mrs Murdock Boudreau), Ontario; Rose and Blanche (Mrs Kelly) Antigonish; two sons, Douglas and Donnie, in Ontario. Three sister survive Margaret (Mrs Basil Parker) Halifax; Mary (Mrs Reg Carter) Halifax and Wardie (Mrs Martin Cole) Canso. Her husband William Feltmate predeceased her.
