FITZGERALD - DARTT, Arabelle Virginia: Tuesday September 7, 2004, The
Halifax Herald Limited: DARTT (Fitzgerald), Arabelle Virginia - 79,
Lorne Street, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully Sunday September 5,
2004, in Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of
the late Dan and Bessie (Phalen) Fitzgerald. She was a member of Trinity
United Church. She was a beloved wife and best friend of Lee, and is
also survived by son, Lee Jr. (Judy), Trenton; daughters, Marilyn (Dave)
Raynard, Trenton; Carla (Owen) McCormick, Abercrombie; six
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers,
Carl, Don and sister, Warda "Nan" Campbell. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New
Glasgow. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Trinity
United Church with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating. Interment will take
place in Lorne Street Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in her memory
may be made to The Arthritis Society.
